Please read these rules thoroughly, as you are responsible for knowing all of them.
1. Be nice to the staff.
2. No power playing. Or god-modding. There is no such thing as an invincible character
3. No Auto-ing. Nothing gives you the right to decide what another character does.
4. If you intend to join SilverLeaf, you need to be an active member. Once you register a character you will have one month to post before your character is deleted and then must continued to post at least once a month. If you intend to be absent for an extended period of time, you need to let the administer know for your character to remain. This such sound a bit harsh but as a new role-playing forum we are trying to promote activity while we're getting started and this ruling will most likely slacken over time.
5. This is a request more than a rule, but do try to put some effort into your posts. Move the thread along if you can instead of making other people do all the work. Nothing is more wearisome in a role-play than having to pull a thread all by yourself while the other person is a dead horse. If the thread owner has a plot in mind, don't just have your character stand there unless it's his way of doing things.
6. Spelling.. punctuation.. and grammar.. please try to use them correctly. Trying to decipher a paragraph can take a lot of fun out of replying to a post. Don't forget about capitalization either!
5. If you're going to join a thread, make sure you know what is going on before you join it. Making your character clueless on purpose is one thing, but if you're being lazy, this is not the board to do it on.
7. Signature images should not be any higher than 275PX or stretch the page, avatars should not be any higher or wider than 100PX. If you need help resizing, you can ask for help.
8. When posting large images (whether to show what a character looks like or for lessons, etc.) please use the new spoiler button to prevent extremely long posts.
9. If you have a problem with someone, take it to PMs. Don't have an all-out fight on the boards. Resolve your problems maturely and if the opposer does not listen to you, then take it to a global moderator, who will do their best to handle the situation.
10. Harassment of any kind is not Tolerated on Silverleaf. If an incident is reported. The offender can take a nice 7 day vacation.
11. If a thread has not been updated in a month, it will automatically be locked. You must then request for it to be opened if you wish to continue it.
12. Any plots dealing with a fight must happen...
School Grounds: Arena or Training Grounds Only
Non- School Grounds: Forest
Please keep the violence out of the villages.
13. The Silverleaf Guide board is meant strictly for Enrollments, Applications, Registration, and Rules. If you wish to greet the new members, do so elsewhere (ex: The Gathering). When Enrolling, Applying, or Registering, start your own new thread, don't post it as a reply to someone else's enrollment!
14. Keep all post Rated PG-13. Nudity is acceptable, if two characters want to preform the mating ritual of the six headed hydra, please skip the actual deed...
15. A minimal amount of cursing is allowed, but do know Proboards automatically censors everything.
16. Sensei's have the final word in everything. Their power is greater than that of any of the students, so don't pretend it's not. They can punish students and you must go along with it. However, the Village is technically out of school boundaries, so unless you are doing something that actually endangers the site, that's free range for students!
17. If you decide to play a staff or Wanderer character, be active with your character!
18. Follow any other rules, such as classroom or application rules accordingly.
Infractions to these rules will result in:
1) A warning
2) Banning from the site (Plain and SIMPLE)
